Event Description

Let the festive spirit take you away with Fort Collins’ annual Bike the Lights, a group bicycle ride through the Old Town neighborhoods of Fort Collins! Join us for an unforgettable evening of holiday cheer as we embark on a twinkling adventure through the beautifully adorned streets. Enjoy dazzling displays of festive lights that adorn the historic buildings and charming homes.

Lights, music, and festive dress-up are not just encouraged; they are the essence of this merry-filled journey so let yourself be expressed to the fullest in whatever ways you see fit. Deck yourself out in your most spirited holiday attire, adorn your bike with fairy lights, and let's create a spectacle of joy as we pedal through the streets, spreading holiday magic to all who witness our merry procession. Pro-tip, bring a warm beverage and hand/foot-warmers.

This community event is not just a bike ride; it's a celebration of togetherness and the joy that the holiday season brings. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors as we come together to make lasting memories under the twinkling lights of Fort Collins' Old Town. So, dust the snow off your bikes, grab your favorite holiday sweater, and pedal with us through a winter wonderland as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!

Historically, Bike the Lights has been hosted by Fort Collins’ bicycle advocacy non-profit, Bike Fort Collins, but this year Foco Bike, VELOCO and Scott Bolte’s Tandem Real Estate.
